Funeral Service for Jordyn Lynell Barse, 30, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, SD with Pastor Vern Donnell, Morgan Redday, and Lay Reader Mike LaFontaine officiating. Pallbearers will be Jay Barse, Dusty Barse, Aaron Aadland, Dylan Wegleitner, Cory Renville, Jerry Renville and Teddy Frenier. Honorary Pallbearers will be Christian Barse, Cameron Bird, Tracii Barse, Lukas Barse, Moonlight Aadland, Chase DuMarce Sr., Dillon DuMarce Sr., Darren Shepherd Sr., Chris Barse, Adam Renville, Ashley Owen-Barse, Scarlett Wanna, Grace Wanna, Latrell Finley, Larry Finley, Kenneth Abraham Jr., Brandon Barse, and All Jordyn's cousins and All of the Staff at Dakota Magic. Drum Group will be Galan Renville and Pianists are Kay Bursheim and Mary Beth Kirk. Interment will be at Sisseton Cemetery. All Night Wake Services will be held at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, SD at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, September 30, 2019 and Tuesday, October 1, 2019.   The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Jordyn was born on September 6, 1989 in Sisseton, SD to Leslie Barse Jr. and Rochelle Renville. She attended school at Sisseton Public School and graduated from Sisseton High School in 2008. She did babysitting for her nieces and nephews. She went to work at Dakota Magic for 3 years in the housekeeping department. She liked to listen to music, attend concerts, watch scary movies, and go to pow-wows. She loved people and would greet them with a hug and kiss. Jordyn had the innocence that attracted good people. She battled sickness her whole life and passed away from lymphoma cancer on September 27, 2019 at the age of 30, at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Jordyn is survived by her mother Rochelle Renville of Sisseton, SD and her father Leslie Barse Jr. of Sisseton, SD; two brothers Jay Barse of Sioux Falls, SD and Jayden Barse of Sisseton, SD; and five sisters Jamie Renville, Jasmine Barse, Sasha Kohl all of Sisseton SD, Jermaine Barse, Sisseton, SD and Jaynie Barse of Sioux Falls, SD; Grandparents Kathy and Leslie Barse of Peever, SD and Connie and Dean Abraham of Sisseton, SD.

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents Clara & Elijah Eagle, Cecil & Madeline Renville and Violet and Frank Barse; her Aunt Loni Barse; Cousins Hayley Wegleitner, Maddie Renville, and Lawren Barse Jr.
