Memorial Service for Jordan Tarvin, 28 of Sisseton, SD, will be on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD with Pastor Patrick Jenkins officiating.

Jordan was born on February 22, 1990 in Fargo, ND to Lisa Tarvin and Robert J. Bucklin.  He and his mother moved to Clinton, CT when he was four years old.  He attended school and grew up in the Connecticut area until he was 19.  He then returned to Sisseton, South Dakota and lived with his grandparents, Bob and Judy.  He loved South Dakota and was so happy to be back there.  He worked for Deutsch Construction.

Jordan loved spending time with his son Anakin, gaming, was an avid comic book and figurine collector and he loved all genre of music especially metal. He loved watching the history channel, reading about history and different religions and wanted to study Archeology.

Jordan is survived by his son, Anakin Lee Tarvin of Sisseton, SD; mother, Lisa Tarvin Taylor of Wallingford, CT; siblings, Logan and Jack Taylor of Wallingford, CT; grandparents, Bob and Judy Tarvin of Sisseton, SD; father, Robert J. Bucklin of Grand Forks, ND; siblings, Christopher, Kailey, Mackenzie, and Nicholas Bucklin of Grand Forks, ND; grandparents, Alice and Robert Bucklin of Grand Forks, ND; uncles, Richard and Lan Tarvin of Bettendorf, IA and Jim and Mayr Tarvin of Westmont, IL; and aunt, Malissa and Jim Mayne of Wallingford, CT.

Jordan is preceded in death by his great-grandparents Marie Rogers and Bernard Rogers.
