Funeral Service for Jonathan A. McGraw, Sungmanitu Ob Inyanka "Runs with Wolves" 54 of Duluth, MN (formerly of Browns Valley, MN) will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at the Lake Traverse District Center. Special music by Butch Felix. Pallbearers will be Travis Goodstar, Eli Starr, Domenick Starr, Benji Thompson, John Shearen, and Marc Armell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deb Holman, Roy Schmidt, Brittany Bowen, Sarah Netwal, Amy Garthus, Classmates, extended family and friends. An All Night Wake Service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Lake Traverse District Center, Browns Valley, SD starting at 5:00 P.M. Interment will be in the Lake Traverse Presbyterian Cemetery, Browns Valley, South Dakota. Drum Group will be Long Elk. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Jon was born August 23, 1967 in Minneapolis, MN to Delores and Jim McGraw. He grew up in Browns Valley, MN and later moved to Duluth, MN where he found employment and started a Family. Jon enjoyed his game shows with jeopardy being his favorite and when he won, he sure let you know it. He also liked his crosswords and watching the Vikings, NASCAR and crime shows along with his drink of choice. Jon was charming and he had a lot of charisma. He'll be remembered for his great sense of humor, laughing, joking and teasing. He was good and kind to everyone and had a generous heart. He was a humble man, content with the way he lived his life and he went out with his boots on. Jon passed away at his home unexpectedly on December 30, 2021.

Jon is survived by his children, Nicholas and Andria McGraw; siblings, Sue Goodstar, Reva D'Nova, Crystal McGraw-Shearen; nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.

Jon was preceded in death by his grandparents Albert Sr. and Martha Starr; parents Delores and Jim McGraw; Brothers Faron McGraw and Butch Starr.
