Funeral Service for John Lawrence Leith Jr. "LBJ", 37, of Peever, SD will be held on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 2:00 PM at The Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, with the Rev. Les Campbell officiating. Pallbearers will be Bruce Block, Bruce Godfrey, Richard Lawrence, Curt Snow, Dustin Snow, and Robert Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of John's Co-Workers at JAG Construction. Organist will be Kay Bursheim. Interment will be at St. Mary's Episcopal Cemetery, Agency Village, SD. There will be a Wake Service on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 7:00 PM followed by an all night wake on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at the Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, SD. John Lawrence Leith was born on March 10, 1973 in Sisseton, SD to John Roberts and Doris Jean (Lawrence) Leith Sr. He grew up in Peever, and graduated from Tiospa Zina Tribal School in 1992. He worked road construction since he was 17 years old. He also worked at SWHA and DMC in maintenance. He loved auto repair, music esp. Johnny Cash and Guns-N-Roses, Movies, and visiting friends. John passed away suddenly on September 16, 2010 at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake, ND.
John is survived by his mother, Doris Leith of Peever, SD; four children, Rikki Lynn Lufkins, Juctice John Leith, Hunter Dean LaVern Leith and Allister Eugene Lawrence Leith of Veblen, SD; two brothers Jordan Robert Leith, and Landon B. Leith of Peever, SD; two sisters, Kendall Marie Leith of Peever, SD and Jonna Nadine Leith of Veblen, SD; nieces and nephews, Richanda Jaelynn Hill, Dyami, Shanna, and Damien Many Lightings.
John was preceded in death by his father, and maternal, and paternal grandparents.
