It is with heavy hearts that a Memorial Service for Jewelle Melaine Hart, 60, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the S.W.O Tribal Community Center in Agency Village, SD with CRE Gerald Heminger Jr. officiating. Pianist will be Mary Beth Kirk. Urn bearers will be her siblings, Floyd Hart, Bonita "Sugar" Hart, and Sarina Budack. Honorary urn bearers will be all her family, relatives and friends who knew her. Inurnment will be at the Mayasan Presbyterian Cemetery, Claire City, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel of Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.
Jewelle Melaine Hart was born on January 11, 1964, to Kenneth and Theresa (Max) Hart of Sisseton, SD. Despite her special needs, she brought immense joy and warmth to everyone she met, leaving a lasting mark on the hearts of all who knew her. Jewelle was a true blessing – a radiant soul who embraced life with a contagious smile, an infectious laugh, and a heart full of love.
Her innocent spirit has made a lasting impact within our family and community. Throughout her life, Jewelle was a reminder of the power of unconditional love, patience, and understanding. Her family, caregivers, and the community will forever be profoundly touched by her presence, and their lives enriched by the love she gave so freely. Though her time with us feels too short, her impact was immense, and she will never be forgotten.
Jewelle Melaine Hart is survived by her 4 siblings: Floyd Hart, Bonita "Sugar" Hart, Sarina Budack, and Cindy Greeley.
Jewelle Melaine Hart is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Hart, and Theresa Hart (Max); her brother Anthony Hart and sisters, Anita Hart-Wanna, Alfreda Hart, Etta Hart, Amaris Hart, and Zeda Seaboy; and her half-sisters Eleanor Bad-Heart Bull and Loticia (Ree) Barker.
