Memorial Services for Jesse Calvin Rondell, 22 of Waubay, SD will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. St. James' Episcopal Church, Enemy Swim, SD with Fr. Charles Chan, Fr. Conrad Ciesel, Deacon Bitsey Ciesel, and St. James' Episcopal Lay Readers officiating. Pianist will be Billy Kohl and Drum will be Sean Contreras.   Urn bearer will be Jennifer Rondell. Honorary Urnbearers will be Nathan Rondell, Robert Cadotte Jr., Calvin Cadotte, Francis Cadotte, Austin Shepherd, Sean Shepherd and Jesse's Family and Friends. A Family Wake Service will be held on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. at St. James' Guild Hall. There will be a Wake Service on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. at the Guild Hall. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Jesse Calvin Rondell was born on July 12, 1996 to John Rondell and Bonnie Rencountre. Jesse graduated from Tiospa Zina Tribal School in 2014. After graduation he went on to attend Haskell Indian Nation University, Lawrence, KS and most recently Jesse was attending Sisseton Wahpeton Community College, Agency Village, SD. Jesse also worked at Woodland Cabinetry in Sisseton. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, watching sports and playing basketball. He was a huge Denver Bronco's fan. Jesse passed away on July 1, 2019.

Jesse is survived by his parents, John Rondell of Waubay, SD and Bonnie Rencountre of Enemy Swim, SD; five sisters, Jennifer Rondell of Waubay, SD, Crystal Rencountre of Brookings, S D, Rosanna Rencountre, Lindsey Long Torino of Brookings, SD, Charla Rencountre of Sioux Falls, SD; five brothers, Doug Rencountre of Waubay, SD, John Long of Peever, SD, Jared Long of Brookings, SD, Evan Long of Enemy Swim, and Skylar Long of Brookings, SD; and his maternal grandmother, Geraldine Rencountre of Waubay, SD; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jesse was preceded in death by his grandfather Calvin Rondell; two brothers, Michael Rencountre and Nathaniel "Dan" Long and his auntie April Rondell.
