Funeral Service for Jessa Renae Wilson, 19 of New Effington, SD will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Community Center, Agency Village with JC Crawford, Jr. Heminger CPL and Pastor Milton Owen officiating. Pianist will be Kay Bursheim and Drum Group will be Brian Renville Jr. Pallbearers will be Elrond Johnson, Sergio Perez, Draven Crawford, Tanner Wilson, Dusty Renville, Andre Blue, Jesse Feather and Louie Renville. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Jessa's Family, Friends and Special Friend Shayle Cook. Interment will be in the Goodwill Presbyterian Cemetery, Agency Village, SD. Wake Services will be held at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Community Center, Agency Village at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday and Sunday all night. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Jessa Renae Wilson was born February 3rd, 1997 to McKenzie Wilson and Randy Hisgun Jr. in Sisseton, SD. In 2003 McKenzie met Elrond Johnson, Jessa's Stepdad, he played an important role in her life. Jessa has four younger siblings, Robbie, Alaina, Jazzlyn, and Kylee Johnson who she loves spending time with and talking on the phone. Jessa was also raised by her grandmother Pheodora Wilson for some years; she was the 4th grandchild of 15 grandchildren, also her mother's eldest child. Jessa lived in the Sisseton area for most of her life including Browns Valley, Sisseton and New Effington. She also lived in Hinton, OK and Ft. Yates, ND. These were places that her step dad had taken Law Enforcement Jobs with the BIA and they had relocated to. She attended several schools throughout her years including, SWO Headstart, Sisseton Elementary, Tiospa Zina Tribal School and school in both Hinton, OK and Ft. Yates, ND. She had met many friends that she still has to day.
Jessa was a very special, smart girl; she was a quick learner and she loved people. She was the typical little girl with a little tomboyish side to her. She had a radiant smile and beautiful personality. It was so easy for her to befriend people and show her appreciation. On July 2nd, 2016 Jessa gave birth to her son Romeo Rey Perez-Wilson. Jessa was a great mother and she loved her son very much. He is her world! Jessa will be especially missed by her mom and dads, brothers and sisters, her many aunties and uncles, her cousins, her nephews, and her special friend Sergio Perez.

Rice, ND; special brothers, Justice White; special friend, Sergio Perez; Grandmothers, Pheodora Wilson, Catherine Frenier, Sharon Flute, Zelma Flute and Joanne Wilson; aunts, Teri Wilson, Rhonda Wilson, Danielle Renville, Gwen Dohrety, Shelly Bedoine, Roxi Simpson, Stacey Azure, DeeAnn Hisgun, Phoebe Hisgun, Suzan Wilson, Summer Ortley, Misty Ortley and Kelly Ortley; grandpa's Steve Johnson and David Sing-Wiliford; uncles, Jerome Renville Jr., Rick Renville, Brian Renville and Val Azure.
Jessa was preceded in death by one sister, Jaelyn Wilson; one brother Jace Wilson; grandma Ester Wilson and Phyllis Wilson; grandpa Louis Musil; special Grandpa Andre Freinier; aunt Robin Wilson; grandparents Philip and Pheobe Wilson; and a cousin Jerome Renville III.
