Funeral Service for Jason Todd LaFromboise, 29, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 2:00 PM at The Tribal Community Center, Agency village, with the Rev. Charles Chan, JC Crawford, and Episcopal Lay Readers officiating. Organist will be Kay Bursheim. Drum Group will be Old Agency Boys. Pallbearers will Chris Keeble, James Crawford III, Jerry Rodlund, David Williams, Chris Felicia Jr., Kenny Mireau, Steven Kongi Jr., Peter LaFromboise Jr., Josh Wilson, Conway Kampeska, Sidney Wanna. Honorary Pallbearers "All Jason's Family & Friends" Amy Jones, Katie Lureen, Cassie Lureen, Tyler Lureen, Sheila Lureen, Dillon DuMarce, Zach Hill, Alan Shepherd, Sam Crawford, JC Crawford, Chris Felicia Sr., Adam LaFromboise George DuMarce, Calvin Max, Mugzy Wanna, Chester Wilson, Shane Brown, Sheldon Martin, Godchildren ~ A'miyah Lureen, and James Crawford IV. Interment will be in St. Mary's Episcopal Cemetery, Agency Village. Wake Services will be held at the Tribal Community Center at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, and Wednesday an all-night wake.
Jason Todd LaFromboise was born on October 20, 1983 to Ernest Keeble Sr. and Roseann LaFromboise. He attended school at Sisseton and Tiospa, and Kicking Horse Job Corp in Montana where he received his GED and carpentry degree. He returned to Sisseton and worked for Dakota Magic in surveillance and the Tiospa Zina Tribal School as a janitor until 2010 when his health forced him to quit working. He enjoyed playing softball, horse shoes, cards, cooking, and liked watching MMA, carpentry work and enjoyed working on cars. He liked the Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Twins and Los Angeles Lakers. Jason passed away on December 20, 2012 at the Coteau Des Prairies Hospital, Sisseton, SD.
Jason is survived by his significant other, Renae Wanna; three children, Dominic, Lainey, Jacoby LaFromboise of Agency Village; two brothers, Jacob Keeble of Sisseton, SD and Ernest Keeble Jr. of Agency Village; four sisters, Jennifer Thompson of Sisseton, SD, Ann Marie LaFromboise of Agency Village, Ember Keeble of Sisseton, SD and Shaylene Keeble of Agency Village.; paternal grandparents, Jonas and Geraldine Keeble of Agency Village; a special aunt Sheila Lureen of Fergus Falls, MN and aunts, uncles and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jason was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents, Jonah and Regina LaFromboise; one sister, Jamie LaFromboise; two Uncles Peter and Kevin LaFromboise; niece Evenee Roberts Felicia, and one nephew Nickolas Eastman Jr.
