Jared James Dennis Hisgun "Doja and "Doughboy" was born in Sisseton, SD to Jacqueline Hisgun and Stacey Brant Sr. on June 24, 1982. He married Sara Genia and moved from Sisseton to Watertown. Jared loved to cook and was a very hard worker. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Jared loved listening to his music and seeing his family happy. Dough was truly one of a kind. He was a stern big bro when you needed one but was also a teddy bear when life was coming down on you! He always had a smile and encouraging words for absolutely everyone. Jared just wanted everyone to get along and have a good time. To know Dough was to truly know love. He gave love without ever expecting it in return. Little did he know, we all loved him as much as he loved us.

Jared is survived by his wife, Sara Genia; children Juliette, Saffire, and Naomi; Sisters Amanda Hisgun, Chyana Cox, Praire Schuster, and Nora Brant; Brothers Gary Brant Jr., Tracey Brant Sr., Weston Mcintyere, Duta Brant, and Dustin Brant; Uncle Ronnie Brant; Jena Genia & Darrick Redwing; Friends Landon Haug & Jill Haug, Alpha Jo Dumarce, Justin LaCroix, and Stanley Thorpe.
