Memorial Service for Jane Ann Curran, 58 of Sisseton, SD will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD with the Rev. Suzanne Benidt officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Inurnment will be in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Sisseton, SD.
Jane Ann Curren, age 58 of Sisseton, SD passed away on September 30, 2014. She was born February 2, 1956 in Sioux Falls, SD to Gordon and Joyce (Roalstad) Curren. In 1958 the family moved to Huron, SD where she attended St. Theresa School. In 1966 they moved to Aberdeen, SD where she attended Simmons Elementary and Junior High schools. In 1971 they moved to Sisseton where she attended Sisseton High School and graduated in 1974. After graduating from high school Jane moved to Aberdeen and worked at White Drug as a sales clerk. In 1976 Jane moved to California to live with her sister Diane. For a few months they lived in Mill Valley, and then they moved to Laguna Beach where Jane worked in the housekeeping department at the local hospital. At that time, she took a medical ward clerk class and did quite well. Around 1978 she moved back to Sisseton where she lived with her folks for a period of time. She then moved to Minneapolis, MN where she worked as a ward clerk at North Memorial Hospital. She lived in Minneapolis for approximately 10 years before she returned to Sisseton where she has lived ever since.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Joyce. Survivors include her sister Diane (Frank) Fowler of Bonita, CA; Steve (Bonnie) Curren of Shakopee, MN; Patrick (Becky) Curren of Ashburn, VA; and Jeff (Shelly) Curren of Georgetown, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be made to the National Psoriasis Foundation.
