James was born to Wilford Walking Bull and Madeline White on February 6, 1967 at Sisseton, SD. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son-in-law. He was a man of all trades. He was Cross Country Champion 1985 to 1986. He could do it all. But his love for his family was unconditional. In the union with Anne he learned through his father-in-law Emmett Eastman Sr. that Every Step was a Prayer. James ran in the 38+2 Run with his wife, children and family in honor of his father-in-law. He loved a good game of darts, cribbage and pool with his sister-in-law Lucille and father-in-law Bob. He was very thankful to Lucille for introducing him to his Soul mate Anne at the Dakota Magic Casino while he worked there in the Maintenance Dept . James was an honorable man that loved horses and bull riding. He enjoyed walking with his children, movie nights, and karaoke. James died on January 10, 2022 at St. Francis Medical Center, Shakopee, MN.
