Funeral Service for Jade Dustin White II, "J Boy", 21, of Waubay, South Dakota will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Enemy Swim Community Center, Enemy Swim, South Dakota. Officiating will be Fr. Charles Chan and the Episcopal Lay Readers. Drum Group Toka Nuwan. The Pallbearers will be Xavier White, Jasiah RedBear, Daniel DuMarce, Caleb Strutz, D'Jay Campbell, Eli White, and Dawson Locke. Honorary Pallbearers will be All of Jade's Friends, Family and TZ Class of 2022. Wake service will be Saturday, April 5, 2025 starting at 7:00 P.M. and Sunday, April 6, 2025 an All-Night Wake starting at 7:00 P.M. at the Enemy Swim District Center, Enemy Swim, SD and Inurnment will be at a later date at the St. James Episcopal Cemetery, Waubay, South Dakota. The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Jade Dustin White II was born on October 31, 2003, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Jade White Sr. and Joyce (RedBear) White. He attended several schools including Cleveland, Lowell, Hayward Elementary and ESDS before completing his education at Tiospa Zina Tribal School, where he graduated in 2022. Jade worked as an OST worker and substitute teacher at Enemy Swim Day School.
He was known for his gentle and kind nature; he was always offering a helping hand. Jade always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing basketball, video games, listening to music and was a Raiders fan.
Jade is survived by his parents Jade White Sr. of Sioux Falls, SD and Joyce (RedBear) White of Waubay, SD; his daughter Liyah White and friend Laila Gurue of Parmelee, SD; grandparents Merle and Donna RedBear of Waubay, SD; his brothers Xavier Eli White of Enemy Swim, SD and Jade (JT) White of Sioux Falls, SD; sisters Emily Renville of St. Paul, MN and Zaria Renville of Yankton, SD; aunties Mary Jane RedBear of Waubay, SD and Magdalene Fern Ochalla of Sioux Falls, SD.
Jade is preceded in death by his grandmother Sandra White; sister Raegina Renville and aunt Sadie RedBear.
