The Jace Marshall Goodsell, Sr. (Sunkotokeca Isnana which means Lone Wolf) was born on July 28, 1986 to Marshall and Donita (Bursheim) Goodsell at Sisseton, SD. He attended school in the Sisseton School system and graduated in 2005. While he was growing up he spent his summers moto cross racing as his Dad and Mom took him racing all summer long and he won time and time again. He was so proud of his racing skills and accomplishments. In fact one day while watching moto cross racing on TV Jace saw the boy that he raced against during those summers was racing in Las Vegas. He would say that could be me because I used to beat him all the time. Jace drove truck and worked with his Dad in the family business. At his time of death he was raising his two sons, Jarace and JaRyus Goodsell and his nephew JB (Jared Goodsell Jr.). Jace passed away on October 18, 2013 due to injuries received in a one vehicle MVA near Sisseton, SD. He will be always remembered for his smile, his laugh and fun personality and as Troy Goodsell, Jr. said, "I'm going to miss every damn thing about you my cousin, my brother, my trusted advisor, my crutch…love you man, see you guys when I get there."
Jace is survived by this three little warriors, (as Jace would always say I only have warriors) Jarace Goodsell, JaRyus Goodsell and Jace Goodsell, Jr., his parents, Marshall and Donita Goodsell of Sisseton, SD; and his maternal grandmother Marvel Bursheim of Sisseton, SD, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jace was preceded in death by his two brothers Marshall Goodsell Jr. and Jared Goodsell Sr.; his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Bursheim Sr.; Paternal grandparents, Lydia and Glenn Goodsell.
