Funeral Service for Imogene Becky Williams, "Imo" 51 of Pennington, MN will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Enemy Swim Cultural Center, Enemy Swim, SD with Rev. Les Campbell, Lay Reader Valerie Rondell and Mikey Peters officiating. Pianist will be Billy Kohl and Drum Group will be Wahpekute. Pallbearers will be Thomas DeCoteau Jr., Rafeal BlueDog, Brandon Shepherd, Jordan Williams, Eugene Bissonette and DaVonte Hislaw. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Imogene's Friends and Relatives. Interment will be in the St. James Episcopal Cemetery, Enemy Swim, SD. There will be a Wake Service on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 7:00 PM and an all night wake on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the Enemy Swim Cultural Center, Enemy Swim, SD.
Imogene Becky Williams was born on March 26, 1959 in Sisseton, SD to Levi and Shirley (Shepherd) Williams. She grew up and attended school at Wahpeton Indian School, and Wilmot High School. She was united in marriage to Jeffrey Redearth.
She attended Interstate Business College in Fargo, ND. She loved to care for her children and grandchildren. She loved going to Casinos to gamble in her spare time. She liked to cook and to read. She liked to draw and was good at anything she attempted to do. She was undefeated at pictionary. Imogene passed away at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND on November 12, 2010, with her family at her side after a lengthy illness.
Imogene is survived by seven children, Shannon Williams of Pennington, MN, Cynthia Redearth and Jeremiah Redearth of Flandreau, SD, Kimberly Holstein and Robert Holstein of Cass Lake, MN, Cherish Holstein of Bemidji, MN, and Billie Jo Holstein of Pennington, MN; two brothers, Levi Williams Jr. of Bemidji, MN, and Troy Williams of Pennington, MN; three sisters, Barb Jens of Sisseton, SD, Roberta Smith and Lisa Williams of Pennington, MN; one half sister, Sharon King of Remer, MN and sixteen grandchildren.
Imogene was preceded in death by her father, one son, Robin "Robbie" Jeffrey Redearth Jr., one daughter, Misty Dawn Williams, one grandson, Tyler Holstein and one brother James King.
