Funeral Mass Hayley Ray Wegleitner, 18, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Peters Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD with the Rev. Fr. Tony Dummer Celebrant. Organist will be Cindy Marohl with Song Leader Sandi Jaspers, and special music by Tracii Barse. Pallbearers will be Scott York, Scott Price, Brian Krause, Tracii Barse, Austin Fonder, and Larry Finley III. Honorary pallbearers will be All of Hayley's relatives and friends. Interment will be in the St. Peters Catholic Cemetery, Sisseton, SD. There will be wake services on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 7:00 PM and All Night wake Thursday, January 30, 2014 at St. Catherine's Hall in Sisseton, SD. Hayley Ray Wegleitner was born on February 22nd, 1995 in Sisseton, SD to Jared Wegleitner and LaRae (Barse) Richter. She grew up in Sisseton and attended Sisseton Public School. She graduated in 2013 from Sisseton High School. She was a freshman at University of Minnesota-Moorhead. She was an excellent artist and excelled in high school and attended college for a major in art. She loved to take, edit, and create beautiful photographs. She was very passionate about wolves and owls. Some of her favorite things to do were hanging out with her friends and her brother, riding her Schwinn bike, swinging and singing, playing video games, watch movies, go to concerts, swimming, going for walks and exploring, and she loved animals. She had her own unique fashion and loved to have colorful hair. She had a special relationship with her grandparents, Karen and Herman Wegleitner. They adored her as if she were their own daughter. She also had a special bond with her art teacher, Tonya Holter. She inspired her to be a great artist. Hayley also had a special friend, Gage Morris. They complemented each other well and enjoyed each others company.
Hayley is survived by her parents Jared and Stacey Wegleitner of Sisseton, SD and LaRae and Randy Richter Sr. of Sisseton, SD; brothers Christian Barse of Peever, SD, Dylan of Sisseton, SD, Taeden Richter of Sisseton, SD, Randy Richter Jr. of Sisseton, SD, Noah of Sisseton, SD; sisters Amber Richter of Sisseton, SD, Sierra Richter of Sisseton, SD; step-sister Madison Matthews of Sisseton, SD; step-brothers RJ and Dylan Doxtater both of Green Bay, WI and Nicholas Heminger of Sisseton, SD; Maternal Grandparents Les and Kathy Barse Sr. of Peever, SD and Paternal Grandparents Herman and Karen Wegleitner of Sisseton, SD; Special friend Gage Morris of Watertown, SD; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Hayley was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal great grandparents and one aunt Loni.
