The Memorial Service for Harold E. Rustand, 79 of Sisseton, S.D, will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10:30 A.M at the Family Life Church in Sisseton, S.D. Organist will be Sarah Aadland. Urn Bearer will be Alan Rustand. Honorary Urn Bearers will be all of his family and friends. Inurnment will be in the St. Luke's Cemetery in Veblen, South Dakota at a later date. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton S.D, is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Harold Eugene Rustand was born on August 12, 1942 in Sisseton S.D, to Samuel and Mary (Donnell) Rustand. Harold attended the Tekakwitha Orphanage Grade School and then moved to St. Paul and attended Franklin High School. Following his education, he remained in St. Paul and worked at A1 Used Cycle Parts. He was united in marriage to Mary Whitfield and they had two sons. Harold then moved to Oregon before moving back to Sisseton, SD where he has resided for the past 7 years. He had a passion for classic cars. He built a '65 mustang up from nothing to a show car. Harold enjoyed working on his cars and participating in car shows. He took pride in keeping each of his vehicles in good condition. Aside from his cars, he also loved his motorcycles and classic country.

Harold is survived by his two sons Christopher of Pine City, Minnesota, and Alan of Oregon, his brothers; Kenneth of St. Paul Minnesota, Donald and Robert of Sisseton, South Dakota.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Mary (Donnell) Rustand, his brother Francis Rustand, sister Mary Katherine, and step-brother Joey Rustand.
