Harold Dalberg, 50, of Claire City, SD, passed away April 20, 2020.

Harold Ole, son of Ole and Alice (Bilben) Dalberg was born on January 19, 1970. He attended school in Veblen, South Dakota, and graduated from Veblen High School with the class of 1988. He lived on the family farm near Claire City, South Dakota for all his life. Harold met Melissa Illies of Lidgerwood, North Dakota and they got married on December 15, 1995. Harold and Melissa had four children Zachary Ole, Tessa Marie, Charles Ole, and Benjamin John. Harold worked at the Consumers Coop in Claire City, South Dakota for most of his life.

Harold has always enjoyed working on vehicles. He enjoyed everything from the mechanical to the painting part of vehicles. He loved to teach his children everything he knew about cars, and he was always able to diagnose the problem even over the phone. Harold also enjoyed farming and raising cattle. He was always willing to help everyone and was well loved within the community.

He is survived by his wife Melissa; his sons, Zachary (Victoria Weiland) Dalberg, Charles Dalberg, Benjamin Dalberg; his daughter, Tessa Dalberg; many loving siblings, nieces, nephews, Jillian VanErsvelde, and many other beloved friends. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Joanne Roth and Elaine Griggs, and brothers-in-law Keith Kelly and Roderick Hornseth.
