Funeral service for Guy Lawrence Warhol,Wakiŋyaŋ Kici Najiŋ "Stands With Thunder Beings" 65, of Welch, MN will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Goodwill Presbyterian Church, Agency Village, SD with Rev. George Parmeter, Rev. Conrad Ciesel, Deacon Bitsey Ciesel, Rev. Clifford Canku and J.C. Crawford officiating. Pianist will be Billy Kohl. There will be a wake service on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. at the Goodwill Presbyterian Church. Pall Bearers will be Ian Wynde, Marty Crowfeather, Hunter Tateyuskanskan, Wynde Warhol, Winter Warhol, James Rondell, James Kingbird, and Verlin Kingbird Jr. J. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Rev. Clifford Canku, Pastor Paul Nyhuis, Jon Eagle, J.C. Crawford, Barry Hand, Allen Flying By, All of Guy's basketball teammates and Coworkers and Supervisor at Hennepin County Medical Center. Interment will be at Goodwill Presbyterian Cemetery, Agency Village, SD. Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Guy Lawrence Warhol, Wakiŋyaŋ Kici Najiŋ "Stands With Thunder Beings" was born on June 25, 1960, in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, to Yvonne Wynde and Peter Warhol, Sr. He passed away on June 9, 2026, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Guy spent his elementary school years in Minneapolis, MN, and Pine Ridge, SD. He achieved the President's Physical Fitness Award, Grade 5 and 6, in Minneapolis, MN (1971-1972). He later attended high school in Fort Yates, North Dakota. During his senior year, he was recognized as the state's top-scoring basketball player and received numerous awards and honors for his athletic achievements. He received the highest Field Goal Percentage in Basketball at Fort Yates H.S. (1979). He was also deeply connected to his culture, participating in wacipi as a fancy dancer and singer throughout his life.

Following high school, Guy pursued computer training in Boston, Massachusetts, where he worked for Raytheon. He later built a successful career as a Surgical Technician at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN, from which he eventually retired.

Guy was an avid fisherman and hunter who found great joy in the outdoors. He will be remembered for his dedication to his work, providing for elders in the community, his love of family, and the passions that enriched his life.

Guy is survived by his children, Wynde Warhol (43), Honor Warhol AA (42), Winter Warhol (40), Montana Warhol BS (38), Mary Warhol BA (36), Lylis Wells (30), and step-son Jordan Shane Isaac (46) ; sisters, Gabrielle Tateyuskanskan and Lisa Lopez BS, JD, LLM; brother, Peter Warhol Jr. MD; mother, Yvonne Wynde BS, EdM, CAS; grandchildren: Quincy Gill (20), Serenity Whynot (20), Leighton Warhol (16), Alivia Locke (14), Lyla Locke (9), Tate Warhol (7), and Kane Warhol; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Guy is preceded in death by: Peter Warhol, Sr. (Ate), Ida Vivian Barse Wynde (Kunsi), Lawrence Edward Wynde (Tuŋkaŋsidaŋ), Ethel Marie Wynde (Tunwin), James LaBelle (Deksi), Ramona Wynde Erickson (Sanpa Tunwin), Ida Onihan (Sanpa Kunsi), James Onihan (Sanpa Tuŋkaŋsidaŋ), and John Barse (Sanpa Tuŋkaŋsidaŋ).
