Glenda H. Crawford, "Kimanina Winyan" Butterfly Woman, 67, of Agency Village, SD passed away on December 7, 2020 at her home in Agency Village, SD. Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday December 12, 2020 at the Goodwill Presbyterian Church, Agency Village, SD . All night wakes will be held Thursday December 10 th and Friday December 11 th at Goodwill Presbyterian Church, Agency Village. Services by CRE JC Crawford, Courage Crawford and Rev. Enright BigHorn. Music by Billy Kohl. Pallbearers are Sam Crawford Jr., James Crawford III ViJay Kirk, Tristan Thompson, Brian GreyBull, Merlino Bear, Freedom Crawford, Courage Crawford, John Spotted Bird, Theo Crowe. Glenda H. Bear was born on October 5, 1953 to Earlwin Bear and Josephine Spotted Bird in Poplar, Mt. She grew up and attended school in Brockton, Mt. She also went to Vo-Tech in Billings, Mt. After her education she worked in various places in Montana, mainly at the BIA in Poplar, MT. Later in May of 1992 she moved with her family to Sisseton, SD where she the worked for the Dakota Sioux Casino and retired from Dakota Magic Casino, Glenda also worked for SWO Headstart for a few months as a teacher's aide. She met and married the love of her life, Edwin "Big Nick" Crawford Sr. on May 27, 1972 at Red Eagle Memorial Church in Ft Kipp, MT. From their union they had four children Jody, Marie, Emma Leona, Edwin "Jack" Crawford Jr. and Miranda Joy. They both had the joy of raising their oldest grandchild, Nikki Abigail Rose and their oldest great grandchildren Jorell, Julian and Mikah Gerald Zane. Glenda was a home maker after she retired from working. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. After her older grandchildren got older she loved going to bingo and the casino with them. She also loved to go to different places just to visit and have a good time. Glenda passed away after a few months of battling a lengthy illness with her two daughters, granddaughters and sister by her side at her residence.

Glenda will be greatly missed by her children; Jody (Monte) Thompson, Emma (Brian) GreyBull, . Her grandchildren; Nikki, and Geralyn Crawford, Tristan and Taylan Thompson, Earlwin, Alexandria, Brianna, Antonette and Miles GreyBull, Abilene Crawford, Alvan and Amelia Jackson. Her Great-grandchildren; Jorell, Deanna, Mikah Crawford, Jaylah, Jarrod, Raymond, Gezlyn LaCroix, Torryn Thompson, Blair and Sun Wakan Duzahan Win Crawford, Evah and L.Mylo Montano. Glenda's adopted children; Candice Spotted Bird, Jack W., Sam Jr., Courage, Freedom, Hope, Promise, Sunni, Challenge, Liberty Crawford. Her Sister; Vernita Bear, Brothers; Elwayne, Rush and Theo Crowe. Adopted sisters; Lynnette Long Hair, Peggy Ireland, Roberta Bird and Valerie "Pete" Todd. Aunt; Doris Spotted Bird. Numerous Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews as she came from a large extended family.

Preceded in death by her parents Earlwin Bear and Josephine Spotted Bird, Husband; Edwin" Big Nick" Crawford SR., Son; Edwin "Jack" Crawford Jr. Daughter; Miranda Joy Crawford. Granddaughters; Abrielle L. Jackson . Great-Grandsons; Nicholas J. Eastman Jr., Sisters; Evelyn "Connie" and Wilma Bear. Brothers; Merlin Yellow Owl, Gerald "Ponce" and Lyle Bear. Niece; Jonita Bear. Nephew; Gerald "Jerry" Bear Jr. Numerous family members from the Spotted Bird's and Bear's.
