Funeral Service for Glen Allan Wenschlag, 80, of Claire City, SD will be held on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church, Claire City, South Dakota with the Rev. Joseph Crosswhite officiating. Organist will be Edwin Arndt. Honorary pallbearers will be all of Glen's family and friends. Interment will be in the church cemetery. There will be visitation one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
Glen was born on January 17, 1929 near Claire City, SD to Albert and Sadie (Beling) Wenschlag. He grew up and attended school at Claire City. After his education he started to farm and continued farming until his retirement. Glen passed away on February 8, 2009 at the Tekakwitha Nursing Center in Sisseton, SD. Glen is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
