Funeral Service for Geraldine Eunice Kampeska Keeble "Hankeda Win", Last born woman, will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Community Center, Agency Village, SD with John Cloud III, Darrell Mireau, and Claude Kampeska Sr. officiating. Pianist will be Billy Kohl with Drum Groups Standing Horse and The Old Agency Singers. Pallbearers will be Josh Wilson, Claude Kampeska, Jr., Kendrick Mireau, Ernie Keeble, Jr., Steven Kongi, Jr., Chris Felicia, Jr., Jacob Keeble and Jonas Jerome Keeble. Honorary Pallbearers will be Connie Abraham, Della Shepherd Bernard, Sophonia Shepherd Crawford, Joan Renville, Veronica Barse, Charlene "Shine" Wanna, Irene Renville, Edna Max and Shawn Williams. Interment will be in the St. Mary's Episcopal Cemetery, Agency Village, SD. Wake Services will be held at the Sisseton Wahpeton Community Center, on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 P.M. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of Funeral arrangements. |

Geraldine Eunice Kampeska Keeble "Hankeda Win", Last born woman, was born to Winfield and Eunice Renville Kampeska on October 10, 1933 in Sisseton, SD. Geraldine had three brothers Wallace, Wesley and Felix. Geraldine attended Old Agency Day School and Wahpeton Indian School. Geraldine had to quit school due her mother passing away when she had to help raise her youngest brother Felix. Geraldine met and married Jonas Keeble, Jr. May 7, 1965 in Sisseton, SD, together they had three children Ernest, Ann, and Aileen. Jonas helped raise his step children Louella, Claude Sr., Gabriel Kampeska and Darrell Mireau. Geraldine loved to sew, crochet, cook, help people in need and play her favorite game Bingo. Geraldine worked for the Day Care Center and Dakota Magic Casino in the kitchen. While working for Dakota Magic, she was involved in a car accident while driving to work where she had a severe break in her ankle. Shortly after that she was diagnosed with Parkinson Disease. As her disease progressed she had to be moved to the Tekakwitha Nursing Home where she needed 24 hour care. She loved music and her favorite songs included, Elvira, I got you babe, and Blueberry Hill. Geraldine is survived by her husband of 51 years Jonas; their children Louella and John Cloud, Claude, Gabriel, Darrell, Ann and Aileen. She had 32 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. Geraldine is preceded in death by her grandparents, John Kampeska and Ida Renville Kampeska, parents Winfield and Eunice Kampeska, brothers Wallace, Wesley and Felix. One son Ernest Eugene Keeble, grandson Jason LaFromboise and great grandson Nicholas Eastman Jr. Geraldine is the greatest present given to her father Winfield as March 1 st is his birthday.
