Funeral Service for Frederick Ira Rondell, 55 of Watertown, SD will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at 1:00 P.M. at St. James' Episcopal Church, Enemy Swim with Rev. Fr. Les Campbell, Rev. Fr. Charles Chan, Rev. Fr. Conrad Ciesel and Deacon Bitsey Ciesel officiating. Pianist will be Billy Kohl. Pallbearers will be R.J. Cadotte, Francis Cadotte, Christopher Rondell, Jesse Rondell, Nathan Rondell, Stefan Shepherd, Sean Shepherd and Clement White. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Frederick's Relatives and Friends. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Frederick Ira Rondell was born on November 14, 1962 in Sisseton, SD to Calvin and Nellie (Owen) Rondell. He grew up and attended school in Summit, SD and finished school in Waubay, SD. Following his education he moved to Arkansas and starting working as a tree trimmer, returning to Watertown area and working for Oak Valley Farms. He then moved to Kansas and later moved back to Watertown. He loved to hunt especially bow hunting and was a storm chaser. He liked to play cards and watch football. He enjoyed all sports. He loved the Minnesota Vikings. Frederick passed away at his home in Watertown.

Frederick is survived by one daughter, Nichole and husband, Bryan Manning of Plymouth, MA; one son Brandon Raney ; two granddaughters, Leigh and Leven; three grandsons, Anthony, Liam and Jackson; two sisters, Valorie Augustson of Waubay, SD, and Irene Rondell of Enemy Swim, SD; four brothers, Jeff Shepherd of Rosholt, SD, Owen Rondell of Watertown, SD, John Rondell of Waubay, SD and James Rondell of Sioux Falls, SD and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
