Funeral Service for Esperanza Maria Fayant, 2, of Brookings, SD will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. James' Episcopal Church, Enemy Swim, SD with Rev. Fr. Charles Chan, Rev. Fr. Conrad Ciesel, Lay Readers, Val Auguston, Irene Rondell, and Ray Roulliard officiating. Pallbearers will be Jennifer Shepherd, Dee Grant, Misty Fayant, and Natasha Saul. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Esperanza's friends and family. Interment will be in the St. James' Episcopal Cemetery, Enemy Swim, SD. There will be an all night wake service on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. at the St. James' Guild Hall, Enemy Swim, SD. Esperanza passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at her home in Brookings, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Esperanza Maria Fayant (2) was born November 29th, 2016 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Courtney Fayant. Esperanza loved animals and being outdoors, she loved doing what all 2 years olds do. She is loved dearly by her mother and all who knew her. In her wonderful 2 years of life she touched the hearts of many.

Esperanza is survived by her mother Courtney Fayant; Grandparents Wilfred Fayant Jr. and Rita Keeble; uncles Allen, Curtis, Richard and Kevin Fayant; aunts Renae Fayant and Apple; other grandparents Roxanne HisLaw, Barb Iyarpeya, Lori Keeble, Maryjo Keeble, Kenny and Rodney Fayant, David Keeble; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Esperanza was preceded in death by her Paternal Great Grandparents Wilfred and Roberta Fayant; Maternal Great Grandparents Yvonne Hisgun and Henry Keeble; Grandparents Cheryl, Kevin, Ron and Debbie Fayant; uncles Cody Campbell, Ron (Jack) Thennis, Jason Shepherd; cousins Chaske Iyarpeya and Andrew Grey IV.
