Memorial Service for Erik Brown 35, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Tuesday, March 5 at 2:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, SD with the Pastor Milton Owen and Jr. Heminger CLP. Pianist will be Billy Kohl. Honorary Urnbearers will be all of Erik's friend, family, and relatives. Inurnment will be in the spring at Keeble Family Cemetery. There will be an all night wake on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Tribal Community Center. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, South Dakota is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Erik was born December 16, 1983 to Duane and Karen Brown in Sisseton, SD. He attended Sisseton High School. Erik lived in Rapid City for about 12 years and he also traveled across the states working construction. He worked large construction and specialty-type skilled projects. He even did tile within our own Sisseton Wahpeton Tribal Administration building. Erik was deemed an expert tile setter. He also worked for Grazzini for 2 and half years on major projects throughout the Great Plains. Enjoying his family was one of his most important hobbies. He touched so many lives with laughter and love. Camping, fishing, trying new cooking recipes/grilling, off-roading in his Dodge truck or dirt bike exploring/traveling, movies, concerts, music, his favorite football team was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and his favorite colors were red and black.

Erik is survived by his parents Duane and Karen (Keeble) Brown of Sisseton; wife Sarah (Bernard) Brown of Sisseton; children Brayden of Sisseton, Dominique of Rapid City, and Step-son Seth White Jr. of Sisseton; siblings Brenda Renville of Sisseton, Duane Brown Jr. of Washington, Michelle Brown of Sisseton, Tamara St. John of Sisseton, Danielle Adams (Jay) of Sisseton, Thaddeus St. John of Watertown, Bradley Brown of Sisseton; many cousins, nieces/nephews, and other relatives.

Erik is proceeded in death by his grandparents Tillie and Tom Brown of Sisseton, Richard and Naomi Keeble of Sisseton; siblings James Carson of Sisseton, Danen St. John of Sisseton; Nephews Jerome Renville III of Sisseton, Randy Brown of Browning, and Bryce Macconnell Jr. of Sisseton.
