Obituary

Memorial Service for Pastor Dwight C. Fearing, 73, of Sisseton, SD will be Friday, April 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Family Life Center, Sisseton, SD with Pastor Kirk Snaza, Pastor Gary Johnson and Pastor Terry Hartikka officiating. Organist will be Marne Snaza and special music by Pastor Kirk and Marne Snaza, Jim and Kathy Konsor and Dr. Shira Tomboulian. Honorary Urn Bearers will be all of Dwight's grandchildren: PJ Quiroga, Kayla Quiroga, Layne Fearing, Gage Sharring, Jacob Quiroga, Vincent Van Sloten, Max Van Sloten, Zachary Van Sloten and Sydney Van Sloten. Visitation on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cahill Funeral Chapel then there will be a Celebration of Life Service on at 7:00 PM at the Christian Outreach Center, Sisseton, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel of Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.

Dwight Calvin Fearing, age 73, of Sisseton SD, went to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday April 1, 2018. He was surrounded by loved ones when he passed. Dwight was born on June 25, 1944 in Sabka, MN to Darrel and Gladys (Christensen) Fearing. He graduated from North Central Bible College with a Bachelor's in Ministry. Dwight has been a preacher 46 years, 24 of those years were at the Christian Outreach Center in Sisseton SD. Dwight's hobbies were fishing, hunting, camping, traveling and cooking. He enjoyed refereeing for basketball and football games. He also spent a lot of time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Judy Fearing of Sisseton, SD, daughters Cathy (Pete) Quiroga of Corpus Christi, TX and Tracy Van Sloten of Sioux Falls, SD; one son Troy Fearing of Sioux Falls, S D; nine grandchildren P.J. (Rae) Quiroga, Kayla Quiroga, Layne Fearing, Gage Sharping, Jacob Quiroga, Vincent Van Sloten, Max Van Sloten, Zachary Van Sloten, and Sydney Van Sloten; one brother David (Mary) Fearing of Eagan, MN; and one son-in-law Pau Van Stolen of Sioux Falls, SD.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Verva Galusha.
