Funeral Mass for Donna Wise, 91, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD with Rev. Fr. Jerry Ranek Celebrant. Organist will be Colette Hull and song leader will be Sandi Jaspers. Pallbearers will be Jason Luskey, Marty Potter, David Morrisette, Preston Morrisette, Jeremy Hepola and Harold Fryer. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Staff from Edgewood Vista Living Center and Tekakwitha Living Center.  There will be visitation on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Cahill Funeral Chapel, with a Prayer Service at 5:00 P.M. at the Cahill Funeral Chapel.  Interment will be at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Sisseton, South Dakota in the spring. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Donna was the daughter of Jack and Mildred (Fuller) George born on March 20, 1927, in Sisseton, South Dakota. She met the love of her life, Bob Wise in Rapid City, SD where they married in February 4, 1946. Together they raised three daughters Patricia, Sharon, and Carolyn. In 1964 they made their home in St. Paul, Minnesota where Donna worked as a payroll clerk for 25 years with Unisys Corp. and retired in 1990. After retirement she and her husband Bob enjoyed 15 years of traveling back and forth to Florida, Texas and Arizona. In the summer months they made their home in Osakis Minnesota where they spent the majority of their time on the lake fishing. Donna would always say she was the better fisherman. She also loved her trips to the Casino and spending time with her family. After her husband Bob passed away in 2001, Buffalo, MN became her home. In 2012 she moved into Edgewood Assisted Living Center in Sisseton, SD to be closer to her siblings. In 2017 Donna became a resident of Tekakwith Living Center. Donna lived a long fulfilled, wonderful life. Her happiness is now eternal as she is with the love of her life in our Heavenly Father's Home. Donna passed away on March 8, 2019 at the Tekakwitha Living Center surrounded by her loving family.

Donna is survived by three daughters Patricia Morrisette of Buffalo, Minnesota, Sharon(Marty)Potter of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Carolyn Briggs of Phoenix, Arizona; three sisters Lois (Norman) Tchida, Marian (Joe) Valentine, and Lorranie (Wayne) Kelly all of Sisseton, South Dakota, 4 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Bob Wise; her sister Teresa; three brothers Jimmy, Darrell, and Cletus George.
