Funeral Service for Donna Mae Iron Star, 67, of Sioux Falls, SD will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Free Lutheran Church in Ortley, South Dakota with Pastor Ken Flatten officiating. Organist will be Carol Goble. Pallbearers will be Matt McBride, Adam Phillips, James Greene, Melvin High Bear, AJ DeMaris, Travis Groves, Galen Gibson, and Leon Holzerland. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Donna's step children and grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and also one hour prior to service at the Free Lutheran Church in Ortley. Interment will be at the held at a later date at Summit City Cemetery Summit, SD. Cahill Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.

Donna was born on December 28, 1954 in Sisseton, SD to Thomas DeMaris Sr. and Elenora Eck. She attended Waubay High School. Donna worked at Casey's in Sioux Falls, Budget One in Watertown, SD and at Schultz's Foods in Sisseton, SD. Donna was married to Jim Rondell in April 1984 and they divorced in April 2004. Donna passed away on February 20, 2022 at Sanford Hospital, Sioux Falls, SD.

Donna is survived by her son Chris Rondell of Sioux Falls, SD; two brothers Thomas (Barb) DeMaris Jr. of Ortley, SD and Allan DeMaris Sr. of Ortley, SD. Her granddaughters, Jaquelynn and Jahnessah Rondell of Sioux Falls, SD. a sister-in-law Barb DeMaris; one nephew, Allan DeMaris Jr.; one niece, Amanda DeMaris and many step children and step grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Elnora (Eck) DeMaris.
