Memorial Service for Donna "Deanna Seaboy" O'Riley, 84, of Waubay, SD, will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the St. James Episcopal Church, Enemy Swim, SD, at 2:00 P.M. There will be a visitation prior to the service starting at 10:00 A.M. at the St. James Episcopal Guild Hall, Enemy Swim, SD. Officiating the services will be Fr. Conrad Ciesel, Deacon Bitsey Ciesel, and the Episcopal Lay Readers. Urn Bearers will be Dallas Owen, Nick Williams, and Hollie O'Riley. Honorary Urn Bearers will be All of Donna's grandchildren. Inurnment will be at the St. James Episcopal Cemetery, Enemy Swim, SD. Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.

Donna Lou O'Riley was born on November 8, 1941, to Edward Seaboy Sr. and Ruby (Owen) Seaboy in Waubay, SD. Donna spent most of her life living in Waubay, SD but has also lived in several states including Minnesota, Texas, Idaho, Nevada, and Arizona. While living in Idaho, she attended Boise State University and received a certificate in Welding. For work, Donna was primarily a homemaker. In the 70's, Deanna worked for the Tribe. In the 80's, she began her nearly 20-year career as a tribal foster parent for the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate. Donna married Michael O'Riley and to this union had their children Kelli, Todd, and Casey O'Riley. She was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church. Deanna had the honor of being the first Tribal princess for the tribe. Donna loved animals but cats and horses had a special place in her heart. She was very proud of the horse named Sarge (the grandson of the famous horse Secretariat) that lived in her care for almost 30 years. While living in the Enemy Swim area, Donna loved the land she lived on by "The Spring" and often drove her pickup to the lake. She also spent many years working with the youth, especially in an educational aspect. She was beyond generous to anyone in need and gave 110% to her grandchildren in all their endeavors. Donna enjoyed listening to Bob Marley, the Blues, and older country music. Most of all, Donna was an extremely loving mother, sister, and grandmother. Donna passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 84 at the Bethesda Nursing Home in Webster, SD.

Donna is survived by her children Todd O'Riley, Kelli O'Riley, and Casey O'Riley; siblings Sharon Cloud, Bonnie Flammond, and Beaman Seaboy; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; former husband Michael O'Riley; and many nieces and nephews.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents Edward Seaboy Sr. and Ruby (Owen) Seaboy; paternal grandparents David Lee Seaboy and Mary Onihan; and maternal grandparents Beaman Owen and Julia Sanford Owen.
