Memorial Service for Destry Marie Richotte, 27, of Sisseton, South Dakota will be Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Community Center, Agency Village, SD at 2:00 P.M. with Londel Seaboy officiating. Pipe carrier will be Johnathan Gill. Urn Bearer will be Shayn Taylor. Honorary Urn Bearers will be All her family and friends. Inurnment will be at the Max Family Cemetery, Agency Village, South Dakota.

Destry was born to Reynold DuMarce and Lindsey Richotte on April 29, 1996 in Sisseton, South Dakota. She attended Sisseton High School and later got her GED. She worked at the Half Iron Grill and the Sisseton Wahpeton credit union. Destry met and was later engaged to her love, Rollin Flatland. She has her two daughters Alayla and Kimberlee who she loved very much. She was a great mom and loved her children, family, and friends. Her top three favorite artists were ICP, Russ, and Eminem. Destry loved cats and chickens. Her favorite shows were Futurama and Rick and Morty. She loved all of nature but most of all bees and sunflowers. Recently, she was learning new hobbies. She always greeted everyone with a smile. Any room she entered was filled with positivity and a tremendous amount of light.

Destry is survived by her parents Lindsey Richotte and Reynold Dumarce; children Alayla June Jeffers and Kimberlee Autumn Richotte; sisters Jesselynne Cloud, Lorenalynn Cloud, Ashley IronStar, Jessica Zephier- Dumarce, Heather DuMarce, Kyrie Dunkley- DuMarce, Mila DuMarce, Ashlynn DuMarce, Shania DuMarce, Sharice DuMarce, and Jaydean DuMarce; brother Laythan Barse; grandmas JoAnna Frenier and Deborah Richotte; grandpas Thomas Locke, Sullivan Harvey Quinn, Cameron Seaboy, and  Dwayne Jeffery Quinn; great-grandma Rose Max; uncles Jonathan Gill, Kenneth Gill, Dale Frenier, Levi DuMarce Jr., Derrick Locke, Tyrell Richotte, Thode "Thoody" Richotte, and Eli Richotte; paternal aunts Beverly Gill, Dolores Allen, Kathleen DuMarce, Donna DuMarce, and Janice White Shield; special cousins Shayann, Jenna, Ronnie, Nicollette "Kitty", Nick, Dallas, and Collen; aunty-cousin Starr Quinn "Buttass"; best friends Shannon MacConnell, Megan Higheagle, Mary Francis Krpan, Bjay DuMarce, and Courtney Boggess; and fiancé Rollin Fatland.
