Funeral Mass for Desiree Louise Frederick, 60, of Alexandria, MN will be on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 12:00 P.M. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD with Fr. Gregg Frankman officiating. Pall Bearers will be Justin Bjork, Mike Herrera, Xavier Richardson, Devin Kaeding, Ryan Thomas, and Stephen Thomas. Honorary Pall Bearers will be All of Desi's Friends and Relatives. All -Night Wake Service will be Tuesday, November 28, 2023, starting at 7:00 P.M. at St. Kateri's Tekakwitha Hall. Interment will be at St. Matthew's Catholic Cemetery, Veblen, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Desi was born on January 14, 1963, in St. Paul, MN to Mary Jane Wanna Drum. She graduated from Alexandria High School in 1981. In July of 1986 she got married. In the fall of 1987 they had their daughter Mandy and in the summer of 1990, they had their son Jacob.
Desi loved with her whole heart, especially for her 2 children Mandy & Jacob, the Minnesota Vikings, and her family. She also loved her itty bitties, hedgehogs with socks, flowers and playing in the garden, and you can't forget bingo. She was such a caring person, if someone was struggling, she always had an open door, and open arms policy. She always said she didn't collect things, she collected people.
Desiree "Desi" Louise Frederick (Mudgett) died unexpectedly on November 24th, 2023, in Alexandria, MN at the age of 60.
Desi is survived by: daughter Mandy & husband Jason Jerde of Rochester, MN; son Jacob & wife Ashley Frederick of Alexandria, MN; Her brother Wayne & wife Betty (Bee) Mudgett, brother Mickey Mudgett; sister Kelly Jo Kroening & husband Mike Oliver; 6 grandchildren: Devin Kaeding, Stephen Deason Jr, Logan Kaeding, Hunter Kaeding, Parker Barrow Frederick, Alexander Jerde; as well as many aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Jane Wanna Drum, sister Lisa Randall, and her grandparents Leo and Mary Rose Wanna.
