Funeral Service for Debra Ann Johnson, 45 of Fargo, ND will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD with the Rev. Suzanne Benidt and Bob Klandrud officiating. Drum Group will be Wahkupte. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Debra's Family & Friends. Interment will be held at a later date. There will be visitation on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 from 9:00 AM to service time at Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD.
Debra Ann Johnson was born on November 1, 1965 at Bloomington, MN to George and Adeline (Bordeaux) Johnson. She had two brothers, Thomas and Richard. Debra did her elementary schooling in Bloomington and high school years were at Bloomington Kennedy High School. Debra was united in marriage to Joel Heis in June of 1984, in Apple Valley, MN. She then found employment in the Dry Cleaning Industry for several years which she enjoyed thoroughly. She lived in Burnesville, with her family for a couple of years. Debra enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. In 1991 she was divorced from her husband, Joel Heis. Debra passed away on September 12, 2011 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND after a short battle with kidney disease.
Debra is survived by her three children, Kristina Jo and husband Casie Schrupp of Moorhead, MN, Jarryd Heis of Fargo, ND, and Anthony Heis of Grand Rapids, MN; one brother, Thomas Johnson of Lakeville, MN; four grandchildren, Phoenix, Brian, Javier and Skyla; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
