Obituary

Funeral Service for Conrad Lee Amos, Sungtokeca Awanyankapi "wolf watch over him" 46, of Peever, SD will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Big Coulee District Center, Peever, SD with Rev. Clifford Canku, Rev. Vern Donnell and Clyde Kampeska will be officiating. Pianist will be Mary Beth Kirk, Betty Neilan and Billy Kohl. Drum Group will be the Cook Boys.   Pallbearers are Ty Sullivan, Steve Kongi, Kerry Sullivan, Ron Heitland, Darrell Amos, Quentin Owen, Ray Bear Hill and Aurther Irish. Honorary Pallbearers will be Leslie Sullivan, Adrian Williams, Richard Williams, Travis Amos, Darren Amos, Justin Kongi, Marlin Amos, Travis Shepherd, TJ Sullivan Sr., Thurman Freiner and Therese Keeble.  Interment will be in the Ascension Presbyterian Cemetery, Big Coulee. Wake Services will be held at the Big Coulee District Center on Saturday, October 28, 2017 7:00 P.M. and Sunday, October 29, 2017 (all night) at 7:00 P.M. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Conrad Lee Amos was born on October 29, 1970 in Sisseton, SD to Melvin Amos and Georgette Kongi Sullivan. He graduated from Wilmot High School. He worked different jobs including the railroad in Breckenridge, MN; Dakota Sioux and Dakota Magic Casino's and for Gage Brothers in Sioux Falls, SD. His hobbies were fishing, hunting and fixing cars. He had a big heart and always helped anyone in need. He was an avid Seattle Sea Hawks fan. Conrad passed away on October 27, 2017 at Wilmot Care Center, Wilmot, SD.

Conrad is survived by his mother, Georgette Sullivan of Waubay, SD; one daughter, Jessie Kater and granddaughter Alex of Eugene, Oregon; four brothers Leslie Sullivan of Sisseton, SD Kerry Sullivan of Ortley, SD, Tyler Sullivan of Watertown, SD and TJ Sullivan Sr. of Pine Ridge, SD; two sisters, Candance Irish of Waubay, SD and Shawn Sullivan of Waubay, SD; and his long time companion for eleven years, Mary Jo Keeble of Peever, SD.

Conrad was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Amos; maternal grandparents, Lincoln and Loretta (Wanna)Kongi; maternal grandmother, Irene Rouillard; paternal grandparents, Norby and Flora (Phelps)Amos.
