Funeral Services for Colleen Fay Roberts, 49, of Waubay, South Dakota will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the Enemy Swim District Center, Enemy Swim, South Dakota with Pastor Jerome Renville, Pastor Nippy Owen, and Fr. Charles Chan officiating. Pall Bearer will be Aaron Roberts, Asa Roberts, Trinity Roberts, Gabe Barse, John Iyarpeya, Amos Roberts (AJ), Michael Iyarpeya, Curtis Szoktor, Thomas Iyarpeya, Adrian Shepherd, and Parker Vermillion. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Evie Rencountre, Candace Irish, Thomas Locke Sr., Stephanie Paul, Arica Roberts, Dialysis Nurses: Jackie, Andrea aka Reba, Cameo, Carla, and Laura. Interment will be in the St. Jame's Episcopal Cemetery, Enemy Swim, South Dakota. There will be All Night Wake Services on Sunday, February 11, 2024, and Monday, February 12, 2024, starting at 7:00 P.M.

Colleen was born on July 23, 1974, to Patrick Rockwood Sr. and Della Iyarpeya in Webster, South Dakota. She attended school in Waubay, South Dakota and grew up in Enemy Swim and later lived in North Carolina, Montana, and Sisseton. On December 4, 1993 Colleen was united in marriage to Amos Roberts III. She was a stay at home mom, worked as a head cook at the Enemy Swim Elderly, CNA, and was a housekeeper at many hotels. Colleen was a member of the Eagles Wing Baptist Church Old Agency.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, dancing, singing, cruising around, and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching her children play sports and her favorite football team was the Green Bay Packers.

Colleen is survived by her husband, Amos Roberts of Waubay, SD; her children Thomas and Karie Iyarpeya of Waubay, SD, Amos John (AJ) Roberts ( Theresa King) of Brookings, SD Aaron (Bonna Johnson) Roberts of Browns Valley, MN,  Arica Roberts of Webster, SD, Asa Roberts of Waubay, SD and Trinity Roberts of Waubay, SD; three sisters Grace Iyarpeya of Watertown, SD, Candance (Chuck) Eberhardt of Webster, SD, Nanette Rockwood of Summit, SD, and Stephanie Rockwood Moves Camp of Rapid City, SD; five brothers John (Terra) Iyarpeya of Sioux Falls, SD, Todd (Kristin) Rockwood of Waubay, SD, Barry "BJ"  Rockwood of Enemy Swim, SD, Pat "Jr" Rockwood of Enemy Swim, SD and Steven Rockwood of Enemy Swim, SD,; Six Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren; two aunts Noreen Iyarpeya, Ruth Iyarpeya; uncle Henry Iyarpeya, many other uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces.

Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, her maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, and one brother Rodger Steruts.
