Funeral service for Colette Leanne Saul, 29, of Minneapolis, MN will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, SD with Senior Catechist John Cloud III and Episcopal Lay Readers officiating. Pallbearers will be Darian Saul, Darek LittleThunder, Joe Williams, Wyland Wabasha, Roland Wabasha, Lorenzo Walker, and Robert Grant. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nathan Grant, Devin Wabasha, Joe Williams Jr. and Cliff Brown. The Drum Group will be Shortfoot Creek. Interment will be in St. Mary's Episcopal Cemetery, Agency Village, SD. Wake Services will be held on Saturday, March 26th and Sunday, March 27th beginning at 7:00 P.M. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.
Colette Leanne Saul was born on July 13, 1986 in Sioux City, Iowa to Chanon Saul and Daryl LittleThunder Jr. She loved going to movies, loved music, and a fresh pair of shoes. She gave her life to the Lord at an early age. She attended True Love Ministry of Arts for a number of years. She loved spending time with friends and family. She loved going to powwows, and spending time with her loved ones. Colette passed away on March 19, 2016 at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN.
Colette is survived by her mother Chanon Saul-Walker; step-dad (Tee) Lorenzo Walker; two brothers Darek LittleThunder and Darian Saul; two sisters Courtney Saul and Destiney Walker; two step-brothers Darrod LittleThunder and Darryl LittleThunder III; and her three children, Shyiah, Aiyana and Joseph Williams and her soul mate Joe W. Williams; aunties Linete LittleThunder, Joannie Saul-Brown, Judy Grant, Carmen Wabasha, Robin Thomas; uncles Leeland Saul, Byron Saul, John Saul, Wyland Wabasha, Rollin Wabasha, Tyrell Wabasha and host of others.
