Cindy Hieb, 60, of Moorhead, MN passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at a hospital in Fargo, ND. Funeral Service will be Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 3:30 PM with visitation one hour prior to service at the First Presbyterian Church in Sisseton, SD. Pastor Kirk Snaza and Pastor Abigail Ozanne will be officiating. Music will be provided by Marne Snaza and the COC Worship Team. Pallbearers will be Erik Baron, Thomas Rodhe, Roger Johnson, Joshua Olson, Ryan Geray, Landon Olson, Maysen Klienschmidt, and Jason Hull. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cindy's grandchildren, Joshua, Danielle, Ryan, ShyAnne, Justice, Madison, Landon, Korbin, Nathan, Maysen, Aryonna, Katrina, Thomas Rohde Jr., and Alexander. Interment will take place in the spring at Zion Lutheran Cemetery at Hillhead, SD. Visitation service will be Saturday, March 2 from 5:00-7:00 PM with a Prayer Service at the Cahill Funeral Chapel in Sisseton, SD. The Cahill funeral chapel of Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.

Cindy Hieb passed away on Tuesday February 26, 2019 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND with her children by her side. Cindy was born on May 28, 1958 to Leroy Johnson Sr and Eudora Rodriguez (Hull). She grew up and attended school in Sisseton, SD. Cindy was blessed with 4 daughters, 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She led a dedicated life to God, attended church regularly and participated in many Bible studies, groups and various church choirs to lead her in the way of the Lord. Cindy made it a passion to help others by working with the youth groups, teaching Sunday school and participating in the various programs and events within the church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who held a special place in her heart. She also loved going dancing, playing bingo, going to the casino, spending time at the lake, going on boat rides to see the beautiful scenery and her yearly trips to Oregon to visit her family. She was a very devoted Vikings fan always cheering on her team.

Cindy is survived by her significant other David Schwehr of Moorhead, MN; daughters Marsha Geray (Thomas), Amanda Baron (Erik), Michelle Rohde (Tom) and Angela Eggert (Charlie) all of Beardsley, MN; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; Sisters: Vickey Rodriguez of Culver, OR and Elizabeth Goodsell of Sisseton, SD; Brother: Leroy Johnson Jr. of Vancouver, WA; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leroy Sr and Eudora; Grandmother Violet Rodle (Johnson); Brother David and Baby sister Vickey Lynn.
