Obituary

Funeral Service for Christopher Robert Campbell Aka "Petey", 29 of Sisseton, SD will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Enemy Swim Community Center, Enemy Swim, SD with Lay Reader Val Augustson, Lay Reader Irene Rondell and the Episcopal Lay Readers officiating. Pianist will be Billy Kohl. Pallbearers will be Chad Steiner, Sr., Eric Peters Sr., Gabriel Barse, Jared Barse, Jason Waltz and Anthony Grangaard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Blue Grant, Kyle Bevers, Erik DeCory, Thomas Iyarpeya, Charles Vermillion and the Hospice Nurses, Ashley and Missy. Interment will be in the St. James Episcopal Cemetery, Enemy Swim, SD. Wake Service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at the St. James Guild Hall and an all-night Wake Service on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at the Enemy Swim Community Center. The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Christopher Robert Campbell was born on March 29, 1987 in Sisseton, SD to Bryan Graves and Ruth Iyarpeya. He grew up and attended school in Watertown, SD; following his education he worked various jobs in the Watertown Area. He got his GED at Youth Build at Agency Village, SD. Since 2013 he suffered from a lengthy illness and he passed away on September 27, 2016 at his home. He liked to bead, spend time with his family, puzzles, write music, loved to make people laugh and he loved chocolate chocolate cake. He liked the Green Bay Packers, softball and basketball.
Christopher is survived by two children, KeAndre Grant Campbell of Enemy Swim, SD and Sierra Bohlman of Aberdeen, SD; his parents, Ruth Iyarpeya of Watertown, SD and Bryan Graves of Summit, SD; eight brothers and sisters, Cassandra (Chad) Steiner of Watertown, SD, Marjorie Iyarpeya of South Shore, SD, Eric (Natalia) Peters of Watertown, SD, Gabriel Barse of Watertown, SD, Jared Barse of Fairmount, ND, Ryley Graves of Wahpeton, ND, Bryanna Graves of Agency Village, SD, Thomas (Carrie) Iyarpeya of Waubay, SD, grandparents, Donna Graves and James Campbell of Waubay, SD, and many nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
