Chasity Rae Owen-Amos, (Hinhan Gestina Win) Little Owl Woman, 22, of Watewrtown, Sd passed away on August 3, 2013 from injuries received in a MVA near Watertown, SD. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, SD. Rev. Clifford Chanku, Ron Cook and Arnold Williams will be officiating. The drum will be provided by the Cook family. Pallbearers will be Cole German, Kennedy Owen, Jason Amos, Sterlig Owen, Dallas Owen, and Paul German. Honorary Pallbearer will be her daughter, Jade Annamarie Greybuffalo. Interment will be in the Ascension Presbyterian Cemetery, Big Coulee, SD. There was all night wakes on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, August 3, 4, and 5, 2013 at the Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, SD. Chasity Rae Owen-Amos, (Hinhan Gestina Win), Little Owl Woman, was born on March 15, 1991, at Watertown, SD to Lauren Owen and Jason Amos. She grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota which she loved, Hazel, SD, and Watertown, SD. While in high school she was involved in band, cheerleading, volleyball, ice skating, and softball. She also played the alto-saxophone. She graduated from Watertown High School in 2009. She was currently attending Lake Area Vo-Tech for cosmetology. Chasity loved life; she was always cheerful and happy. Her family was the most important aspect of her life, and she loved her daughter Jade immensely. In her spare time she loved writing, journaling, and modeling. Chasity passed away on August 3, 2013 from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident near Watertown, SD.
Chasity is survived by her daughter Jade Annamarie Greybuffalo of Watertown, SD; her mother Lauren Owen of Peever, SD, and step-father Paul German of Sioux Falls, SD, and her father Jason Amos of Sioux Falls, SD, two brothers, Cole and Connor German of Sioux Falls, SD, five sisters, Christina German of Sioux Falls, SD, Tanna Amos of Chester, SD, Asiah, Natali, and Sienna Amos all of Sioux Falls, SD, and neice Sophie German of Estelline, SD, numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Chasity was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Charles King, and maternal step-grandfather William Gross.
