Funeral Service for Charlotte Caroline Berge, 67, of Sisseton, South Dakota will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grace Lutheran Church, Sisseton, SD with the Rev. officiating. Organist will be Mona Greseth and Special Music by Carla Alvarado, Elaine Berge Eagle, and Barb Lamb. Pallbearers will be Richard Berge, Earl Berge, Russell Berge, Kevin Medenwald, Richard White and James Munro. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Charlotte's Family and Friends. Interment will be in the Concordia Lutheran Cemetery, Sisseton, SD. There will be visitation on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Cahill Funeral Chapel and Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 A.m. at the Grace Lutheran Chapel and one hour prior to the services in the church. Charlotte was born on September 13, 1943 at St. Paul, Minnesota to Emil and Amelia (Jensen) Bolduan. She graduated from high school at St. Paul, Minnesota. Charlotte married Bruce Berge on October 21, 1961 at St. Paul, Minnesota. After they married they moved to the family farm where Charlotte worked alongside her husband on the farm. In 1988 she started working at Alco retiring in 2006. She like reading, Bingo, puzzle books, horses, gardening, and traveling especially the Black Hills. Charlotte passed away on September 25, 2010 at the Tekakwitha Living Center, Sisseton, SD.
Charlotte is survived by four sons, Richard and his wife, Virginia Berge, of Watertown, SD, Russell and his wife, Maggie Berge of Sisseton, SD, Earl and his wife, Paula Berge, of Rosholt, SD, and Erick of Sisseton, SD; One sister, Shirley Moryn of St. Paul, MN and one brother, Larry and his wife Patty Bolduan of St. Paul, MN, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, Roger Bolduan.
