Obituary

Funeral Mass for Carol Little, 90 of Sisseton, SD, formerly of Gaylord, MN will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD with the Rev. Fr. Norman Volk, OMI Celebrant. Organist will be Cindy Marohl and song leader will be Georgia Streier. Pallbearers will be Tony Little, Michael Little, Jim Little, Charles Little, John Grimm, and Chris Holicky. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Carol's Friends and the Staff of Tekakwitha Living Center. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Barnum, MN. There will be visitation on Thursday, June 2, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with a 7:00 P.M. Prayer Service at the Cahill Funeral Chapel, and one hour prior to the Funeral Services at the Church on Friday. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.
Carol Flowers was born on December 27, 1920 in Cleveland, MN to Orange P. and Minnie (Schmidt) Flowers. She attended school in Cleveland, MN. Following her education she married Lloyd Little on August 22, 1939 at Waterville, MN. They farmed near Gaylord, MN. After retiring from farming, they moved to Northhome, MN, then to Browns Valley, MN and then later Carol moved to Sisseton, SD. Carol liked to quilt, embroider, cook, play cards, and she loved to read. Carol passed away on June 1, 2011 at the Tekakwitha Living Center, Sisseton, SD.
Carol is survived by four sons, Larry Little and Donna of Dassel, MN, Mike and wife, Colleen Little of Beardsley, MN, Jim and wife, Judy Little of Claremont, MN and Dennis and wife, Ann Little of LeSueur, MN; two daughters, Sue and husband, Greg Stillson of Sisseton, SD and Annette and husband, Tim Adams of Beardsley, MN; twenty grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lloyd, daughter Janet, grandson Todd, and twelve brothers and sisters.
