Funeral Service for Carmen Angeline Wilkie, Sungduta Kci u win, Comes with Roan Horse,  11, of Sisseton, South Dakota will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Hall, Sisseton, South Dakota with Fr. Gregg Frankman officiating.  Pall Bearer will be Presly Wilkie, James Wilkie, Bennett One Road, Victor Wilkie, Alex Wanna, Xavier Wanna, David Williams and Tayon Wanna.  Honorary Pall Bearers will be "All of Carmen's Family, Friends and Classmates".  There will be a Wake Service on Thursday, July 27, 2023 starting at 7:00 P.M. and an All Night Wake Service on Friday, July 28, 2023 starting at 7:00 P.M. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Hall.  Burial will be in the LCD Family Cemetery, Sisseton, SD.  The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.

Carmen was born on March 22, 2012 in Sisseton, SD to William and Vanessa (Wanna) Wilkie. She attended head start from 6 months until Kindergarten, from Kindergarten through 3 grade at TZTS, and 4th and 5th grade at Sisseton.  Carmen was a smart, caring, genuine girl. She caught on to things very quickly and had an amazing imagiation. She loved dressing up, and doing her hair and makeup as well as shopping for clothes and shoes. Some of Carmen's favorite foods were takis and pickles. She really enjoyed doing gymnastics, riding horse, and four wheeler, the outdoors, making tiktok video, being around friends and family but most of all she loved being a aunty.  Our princess was loved and will be missed by many. Carmen passed away on July 25, 2023.

Carmen is survived by her parents Vanessa Wilkie and William Wilkie; siblings, Presly and Kelcee  Wilkie, James and Yuri Wilkie, Bennett and Tatianna One Road, Rainie Wilkie, Bliss Wanna, and Victor Wilkie; Grandparents Dave and Shavonne Wilkie; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; pet dog Brody, cat Archie and her horse Lady.

Carmen was preceded in death by her Grandma Carmen Wanna, Great Grandparents Oliver and Anigie Wanna, Patrick and Stella Wilkie; Uncles Patrick Wilkie;  Grandpa Troy Wilkie, Duane and Geno Wanna; and Grandmas Debbie, Kathy and Sheila; Baby love.
