Funeral Service for Candice Amber Jo LaBelle Wahca To Win Blue Flower Woman, 29 of Sisseton, SD will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Community Center, Agency Village, SD with Pastor Robert Beasley and All of the Episcopal Lay Ministers officiating. Drum Group Short Foot Creek. Music provided by Tracii Barse, Joe and Kathy White, DeVola Bird and Jaylee Crawford. Pallbearers will be Justin LaCroix, Justin White, Duane LaBelle Jr., Nick Schaller, Tracii Barse and Josh DuMarce. Honorary Pallbearers will be Vernon Renville Jr., Tasha Renville, Natasha DeCouteau, LaKeesha DeCouteau, Darlena DuMarce, Crissa Redday, Raihama Redday, Andrea Cobenais, Megan LaBelle, Calvin Max Sr., Patrick Quinn, Troy Barse, Kelli Nichola and Taylor Shortman. There will be Wake Services will be held at Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Community Center, Agency Village, SD on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. and all night wake Tuesday, November 25, 2014 starting at 7:00 P.M. Interment will be at a later date. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.
Candace was born on January 7, 1985 in Sisseton, SD to Francise Kakkak and Judy LaBelle. Candace went to school in Sisseton and also attended circle of Nations where she graduated. She was very out-going and liked to be riding around being with her friends. She enjoyed drawing, listening to music and caring for her family. Candace worked in Flandreau at the Casino, Dakota Magic Casino, and at Woodland. Candace passed away on November 22, 2014 in Sisseton, SD.
Candace survived by her children Taylor Redday of Sisseton, SD, Rose Marie LaBelle of California, Deonate LaClaire of Sisseton, SD, Kimmi-la LeClaire of Sisseton, SD, Mina LaBelle of Sisseton, SD, Sophie Anderson of Flandreau, SD, Melia LaBelle of Flandreau, SD, Ava LaBelle of Flandreau, SD; parents Judy LaBelle of Sisseton, SD and Francise Kakkak of Sisseton, SD; sisters Lisa Barse of Wahpeton, ND, Rosanna LaBelle of Sisseton, SD, Renita LaBelle of Sisseton, SD, Sha-la LaBelle-Mora of Sisseton, SD, Kayla LaBelle of Sisseton, SD, Gina LaBelle of Sisseton, SD, Josalena LaBelle of Sisseton, SD; brother Josh DuMarce of Flandreua, SD, and grandmother Kathy White and grandfather Francise White II of Sisseton, SD.
Candace was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Lena LaCroix, maternal grandfather Rudy LaBelle and nephew Shawn Saddler Jr.
