Funeral Service for Canceda Wasteste Eastman, Very Good Drum, of Sisseton SD will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 2:12 P.M. at the Lake Traverse District Center, Browns Valley, MN with Katie McKay, Charles James, and Spiritual Leaders will be Cecil Renville and Sidney Tuttle officiating. All Singers Welcome.  Pallbearers will be Brian Drum, Selwyn Drum, Ta Oyate Eastman and Yavin Price.  Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Canceda Wasteste's Family and Relatives.  Inurnment will be in the Ascension Presbyterian Cemetery, Peever, SD at a later date. The Cahill Funeral Chapel is in charge of Funeral arrangements.

Canceda Wasteste came into this world sleeping on August 26, 2023 to Emerson W. Eastman and Kayla E. Drum at Coteau Des Prairies Hospital, Sisseton, SD.

He is survived by his parents Emerson W. Eastman and Kayla E. Drum of Sisseton, SD; a brother Maka-Yuskanskan Eastman of Sisseton, SD; paternal grandparent Milton Eastman, Sisseton, SD, maternal grandparents Netrea King, Peever, SD and David Drum of Lake Traverse; many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Relatives.

Canceda Wasteste was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Ernestine (King) Huff, Martha (Redthunder) Spider, great grandparents, Samson Spider, Lucas Comes Last, Ethel (Drum) Comes Last, Katherine and William Drum; paternal great grandparents, Oliver and Bertha (Little Thunder) Eastman, Nora Greeley Earth, Grandmother Della Cecelia (Greeley) Eastman; cousins Leeland Oliver Willard Eastman Price, Waniyetu Ta Sunke Ob Hi Win Eastman, Tucan Amahpiya JanJan Tanka Mani Wakaya Gdigde Hoksina Eastman.
