Memorial Service for Cade Marshall Jo Renville "Wakan Tanka ta Awicahdi", he brings them back to God, will be held on January 15, 2025, at the Summit School in Summit, SD at 1:00P.M. There will be a visitation service on January 14, 2025, at the Dakota Alliance Church in Sisseton, SD from 5-7:00 PM. Officiating will be CRE Gerald Heminger Jr. Drum Group will be Old Agency Singers. Urn Bearers will be Marshall "Dougie" Flannery and Terry Haug Jr. Honorary Urn Bearers will be his nightly Fortnite crew- Carter, Scarlett, Steven, and Cree; Dakota Alliance Wednesday Bible study crew, and all the staff and kids at Summit School. Inurnment will be at the Mount Hope cemetery in Watertown, SD at a later date. Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.

Cade was a boy who brought joy wherever he went. He was kind    beyond words, bringing dad his phone (accidentally having it slide into the sink). Helping his baby sister (Cree) by covering her up with a blanket.  Helping his older brother (Slaine) take baths, helping his oldest sister (Scarlett) actually win a Fortnite match on Xbox. Cade had an undeniable love for his cat Vaugn always holding and playing with him. Cade's smile lit up the room with a genuine happiness. He enjoyed playing the piano and playing his saxophone in band, working with his Grandpa Doug to try and earn money (to buy more Xbox cards). Cade enjoyed learning everything about space he could at school or with his Grandpa Doug. He enjoyed building Lego sets he was always so proud to complete them put them on his bedroom shelf on display. Cade loved the camping trips with his family, swimming, smores over the campfire, having steak and potatoes. Cade was so proud and happy when he won his bike for writing an essay for the D.A.R.E. program. Cade always had the biggest heart he cared so much for other people. Only needing the simplest of things (Coke and hot Funyuns). He was always worried how others were doing. He was so proud of his accomplishments like fighting his anxiety and reading his bible in front of the Dakota Alliance Church on Wednesdays. Cade had a profound love for God and the Bible. He inspired many people to find God again. Cade loved book club on Tuesdays after school where he would learn and read new books with his sister Cree and classmates, always happy with what Dawn picked. Cade would always look forward to the families yearly outing to the Brown County Fair but it was hard to tell what he really enjoyed more, the fair or the fact, he got to miss the first few days of school doing it. Cade always loved visits from his aunts especially his aunt Jenni's homemade snacks that she would bring. Cade loved spending time with his older sister (Scarlett) jamming out to music in her car. Cade got to go on many Family vacations and loved all of them, he had a particular love of the ocean. To most Cade would have appeared shy but those he really knew, he loved to talk about Xbox games, Fortnite, Fallout, his accomplishments playing them with a love of Greek history. And playing and talking about Dragon Ball Z. Cade enjoyed long talks with his best friend Carter Saxton. The Fortnite team Cade, Carter, Scarlett and Cree would always play Fortnite late into the night having the best of time even if it meant waking up the rest of the house. Cade was a kind and fantastic, son, brother, nephew, grandson and a true example of how to treat others.

Cade is survived by his parents April and Steven Griffee; father John Renville; siblings Scarlett Renville, Slaine Renville, Cree Griffee, Samuel Griffee, and Willa Renville; grandparents Doug and Diane Flannery; grandparents Angie and Lonnie Quale; great-grandmas Jo Steck and Marcella Haug; and many aunts, uncles, and family.

Cade is preceded in death by his brothers Hayden Renville, Darius Eric Flannery; great-grandpas Bernard Haug, Roger Stuck, and Marshall Flannery; grandma Darlene Pipeboy; and aunt Lisa Haug.
