Funeral Service for Brian Wade GreyBull, "Waci Bdeza" Dances Clearly, 48, of Poplar, MT will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Community Center in Agency Village, SD with CRE JC Crawford and Courage Crawford officiating. Pallbearers will be Earlwin GreyBull, Freedom Crawford, Tristan Thompson, ViJay Crawford, Cashton Paul, Brian Weeden, Derrick GreyBull, Tanner Kohl, Nicolaus GreyBull, Justin Gill Jr., Jorell Crawford, and Sam Crawford Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Redday Sr., Joe WhiteHawk, Doug Furhman, John Jones, Blaine Shebala, Robyn Renville, Charlie Billie, Gummer DeCoteau, Darwin James, Butch Johnson, Darryl Renville, Patsey Hart, Pat Harles, Les Bighorn, John Spotted Bird, Valerie "Pete" Todd, Patt Iron Cloud, Sandy Iron Road, Charlene Iron Road, Delveen Seaboy, Geoff Hagadone, Charles LongTree, Brian Jones, Arnold Eagle Kenny White Head, Robert "Punky" Garfield, Sioux Voices Club, Glen Robertson and Sisseton Public School. Drum Group will be Dakota Nation. All night wake will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. at the Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, SD. Interment will be in the Goodwill Presbyterian Cemetery, Agency Village, SD. The Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Brian Wade GreyBull, "Waci Bdeza", was born on October 7, 1972 in Poplar, MT to Melvin "Shaw" GreyBull and Diane J. Longee. He passed away suddenly on June 24, 2021 at CDP hospital in Sisseton, SD. Brian attended Poplar Public School and later graduated with the class of 1991. While in high school, he participated in football and excelled in basketball, winning many awards. He also traveled to many tournaments with independent basketball teams. During the summer, he played softball. If he wasn't doing that, he traveled with his father "Shaw" to many pow-wows. Throughout his traveling he met many people and became friends with them, whether it was at a pow-wow or basketball tournament. After graduation, he attended United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck, ND. Brian met the love of his life, Emma Crawford, in November of 1991 and shortly after had their first son in 1992. Later, they moved to Sisseton, SD in 1993 and decided to make that their home. On December 15, 1994 they were united in marriage and continued to have four more children. While living in Sisseton he worked in various places until he found his passion with working with the youth. He was currently employed with the Sisseton Public School and was the advisor for the Sioux Voices Club. He enjoyed teaching the youth about their culture and encouraging them to be good to themselves. He always had a listening ear for them and some looked up to him as a good mentor.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Cubs fan and had many basketball teams he would follow. Brian also loved going to pow-wows with his children to watch his girls dance while his oldest son sang at the drum. He was also a sundancer. He was the first commentator to bring live play by play to all 8 schools that particpated in the DOC in Huron. He was also TZTS football coach from 2007-2009 and a para professional. This motivated him to start dancing himself. Throughout his pow-wow days he became friends with a lot of people and would go to pow-wows just to go visit and dance with them. Brian will be greatly missed by his wife, his children, grandchildren and many family members.

Brian Wade GreyBull is survived by his wife Emma Crawford GreyBull. His children: Earlwin A., Alexandria J., Brianna J., Antonette J., and Myles BJ. GreyBull. Grandchildren: Blair T., Sun Wakan Duzahan Win, Evah, and Mylo. Sisters: Sheila, Johna, and Lindsey GreyBull. Brothers: Anthony and Everett Browning, Melvin GreyBull, and Wes GreyBull. Adopted siblings: Nona, Nettie, Sam Jr., and Courage Crawford. Adopted kids: Brian Weeden, Abby Crawford, and Amelia Jackson. Nieces:: Marissa, Mandy, Mallory, and Alison. Nephews: Derrick, Rick, Brett, Nicolaus, and Justin. Special Nephew & Niece: Derrick GreyBull and Nikki Crawford. Aunts: Darlene Longee and Ramona White Hawk. Uncles: Maynard and Lawrence Longee, Art GreyBull, and Maynard Hawk.

Brain was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Kimberly Carole and Monica GreyBull. Nephews Ryan Buckles, Paul Morales, Carlon Long Tree. Grandchildren Canyon GreyBull, Nicohlas Eastman Jr., Paternal grandparents Thomas GreyBull and Annie Kills Spotted. Maternal grandparents Ernest Longee and Ethel Buckles. Uncle Milo GreyBull, Aunt June GreyBull, Cousins Harold GreyBull and Rocky GreyBull, and Many other extended family members.
