The Celebration of Austin's life at Johnson Siding, SD will be on September 28, 2024 at 4:00pm at the Rimrock Church 12200 West Hwy 44, Rapid City, SD 57702.

A celebration of life was held 5:00 PM-7:00 PM with a prayer service to follow, on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Wight and Comes Funeral Home, 1111 4th St. NE, Watertown, SD 57201.

Austin passed away on July 31, 2024, as a result of a motorcycle accident near his home at Johnson Siding, South Dakota.

Austin Eugene Dahl, age 46, born, January 25, 1978, in Sisseton, South Dakota to his parents, Sharmell [Mike] Murphy and Curtis Dahl.

Austin graduated from Sisseton High School in 1996. He attended Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and then attended Lake Area Vocational School, earning his Marketing and Management Degree. He married Corrine Krueger and this union welcomed three beautiful girls: Brenna Lee Dahl, Ruthie Reggan Dahl, and Gretta Noel Dahl. These girls were the love of Austin's life.

Austin was the owner of Johnson Siding Grocery Store and Gas Station. Here he shared his love of vintage cars and motorcycles. Every spring would find him preparing his parking lot for the showing of numerous vehicles from the surrounding area. These past few months he had been gearing up for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. His parking lot is now waiting for the motorcyclists' arrival and comradery. He was ready for the much-anticipated celebration.

He is survived by his parents, his daughters, and his siblings: Christopher Dahl [fiancé Nicole Pond], Jameson Dahl, Mackenzie [Mike] Haight, and Rochelle Dahl. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews: Talia, Tytan Haight and Jayla [Ben] Brekke; Tanner Dowell, Kylie [Hunter] Schindler and their children Georgia and Ruthie; Abby and Emma Dahl; Landen Dahl, Logan Tchida; and Carter Jensen.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Lorrayne McManus, and his paternal grandparents, Clinton and Darlene Dahl.
