Funeral Service for Arthur "Artie" Keeble, 68, of Waubay, SD will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Enemy Swim Community Center, Enemy Swim, SD with Rev. Fr. Charles Chan and Episcopal Lay Readers officiating. Special Music will be by Slyvester Yellow Back, Franklin Keeble, and Margaret Keeble. Pallbearers will be Lance Keeble, Jayson Gill, Joshua Keeble, Michael Thiel, Tyrell Keeble, Seth Keeble, Louis Buck Elk, Iver Cloud Jr., Brian Rodlund Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Geno Locke, Moses Keeble, Hank Iyarpeya, Slyvester Yellow Back, Franklin Keeble, Jonas (Baby Ruth) Keeble, Arthur Irish Jr., Perry St. John, and all of Arthur's friends and family. Interment will be at Keeble Family Cemetery, Grenville, SD. Arthur passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at his residence in Waubay, SD.

Arthur was born on February 5, 1951 in Sisseton, SD to Simon and Lucy (Eagle) Keeble. He attended school in Waubay, SD. Arthur worked as a seasonal worker at the Potato Company in Garden City, SD for Gene Hartman for many years until he was involved in a car accident. Artie loved working on cars, laughing and joking around with friends and family, and whoever encountered him. Artie also enjoyed doing bead work on Gods eyes and dream catchers.

Arthur is survived by his children Simon Keeble of Sisseton, SD, Diane Keeble of Redfield, SD; sister Mary M. Keeble; two adopted siblings Virginia Thiel of Watertown, SD, and Sylvester Yellow Back of Sisseton, SD; one granddaughter Kiara LaFromboise of Eagan, MN.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents Simon and Lucy Keeble; brothers John Keeble, Cyril Keeble, Duane Keeble, Orville Seaboy, and Gabriel Keeble; sisters Catherine St. John-Keeble, Sylvia Irish, Nancy Keeble, and Kathleen Tulowetzke.
