Funeral Mass for Ardelle Arbach, 88, of Sisseton, SD will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St Peter's Catholic Church, Sisseton, SD with the Reverend Father Jerry Ranek Celebrant. Organist will be Colette Hull and song leader will be Sherman Hannasch. Pallbearers will be Jorden Arbach, Brad Arbach, Pat Arbach, Michael Tchida, Chad Tchida, and Austin Tchida. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Ardelle's family and many friends. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Sisseton, SD. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Cahill Funeral Chapel from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. The Cahill Funeral Chapel of Sisseton SD is in charge of the arrangements.

Ardelle was born August 1 ^st , 1930 in Sisseton, SD to Wayne and Cora Wooley. She grew up on a farm three miles northwest of Sisseton. She attended school in the Sisseton School System. On April 19 ^th , 1949 she married Howard Arbach. They were blessed with seven children JoAnne, Sharon, Donald, David, Lori and Kevin. They farmed and operated a dairy farm and a feedlot, raised chickens and laying hens until they retired from farming and moved to Sisseton in 1979. Howard and Ardelle operated The Arcade on Veteran's Avenue in Sisseton until 1989. They started a lawn mowing and cabin cleaning service for cabins at Red Iron Lake, which they ran for 17 years.

Ardelle enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking, family gatherings, playing cards, watching the Minnesota Twins baseball team and Hallmark movies.

She was an active member of St. Peters Church and member of Saint Francis Circle at St. Peter's Church.

The most important part of Ardelle's life was her family.

Ardelle passed away on September 8 ^th , 2018 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND after suffering complications following a stroke. She was loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Ardelle is survived by her daughters: JoAnne Hagen of Badger, IA, Sharon Tchida of Sisseton, SD, and Lori Tolle (Doug) of Fargo, ND, her sons: Donald Arbach (Trish) of Sisseton, SD, David Arbach of Columbia Falls, MT, and Kevin Arbach (Nicole) of Morris, MN. One brother, Willis Wooley, of Eugene, OR, two sisters: Janice Myers (David) of Santa Maria, CA, Judy Aas (Calvin) of Sisseton, SD; brother-in-law, Reynold Arbach (Clarice), Sisseton, SD, sister-in-law, Luella Eggers, Sisseton, SD, twenty four grandchildren and thirty two great grandchildren.

Ardelle was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; her parents, Wayne and Cora Wooley; one daughter, Lois; her brother Virgil and three grandsons Christopher, Nathan and Nicholas Tchida.
