Funeral Service for Angela L. Lee Wahca Waste Win (Pretty Flower Woman), 83 of Waubay, SD will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the St. James Episcopal Church, Enemy Swim, SD with Bishop John Tarrant, Fr. Charles Chan, Fr. Les Campbell, Fr. Conrad Ciesel, Decon Bitsey Ciesel and The Rev. Marion Paulis officiating. Organist will be Kay Bursheim. Pallbearers will be Chris Rouillard, Vern Rouillard Jr., Austin Iron Star, Leslie Campbell Jr., Tim Lee, Michael Peyton, Destry Campbell and Jeremy Blauer. Honorary Pallbearers will be "All ECW Women", Yvonne Williams, Janis LaBatte, Yvonne Wynde, Belva Hatlie, Noreen Iyarpeya, Ruth Campbell, Patty Bernard, Kay Bursheim, Liz Bearhill and Lynn Hublou. There will be a Wake Service on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. at St. James Episcopal Church, Enemy Swim, SD and all night wake Thursday, April 23, 2015 starting at 7:00 P.M. at St. James Episcopal Church, Enemy Swim, SD. Interment will be in the Highland Cemetery, Lily, SD. Cahill Funeral Chapel, Sisseton, SD is in charge of arrangements.
Angela Leone Lee was born on January 27, 1932 to Adelord Matt Campbell and Alice (Robertson) Campbell at the Campbell homestead at Campbell Lake in NE Day County. She attended school in NE Day County and graduated from Flandreau Indian School in 1951. Angela then did resort and cabin work on Enemy Swim Lake for Dr. and Mrs. Codwell. In 1952 she married Lincoln Rouillard they raised three children Raymond, Sonia and Vernon. They moved to Watertown, SD where she worked in cafés; Groton, SD and Webster, SD where she worked at the nursing homes. In 1964 Angela married Alvin Lee of Lily, SD. They raised five children together Kathy, Rich, Joni, Loren and Josette.
Angela was a Red Cross Volunteer worker, taught Sunday School and Bible School in Lily, SD. She was baptized and confirmed at St. James Episcopal Church, U.T.O Officer, E.C.W. President, American Legion Auxiliary member of Lily/Waubay. She enjoyed collecting cookbooks, bird watching, sewing and quilting, cooking, baking, canning, talking on the phone and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.
Angela is survived by her children Raymond (Ursula) Rouillard of Waubay, SD, Sonia Rouillard of Waubay, SD, Vernon Rouillard of Waubay, SD, Kathy Cressy of Santan Valley, AZ, Richard Lee of Webster, SD, Joni (Bill) Peyton of Watertown, SD, Donald Lee of Webster, SD and Josette Lee of Webster, SD; one brother Fr. Les Campbell (Mary) of Waubay, SD; one adopted brother Clark (Margerette) Newman of Aberdeen, SD; nineteen grandchildren and twenty two great-grandchildren.
Angela is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two children Jody and Janel, one grandson Shawn Rouillard, three brothers Fr. Ron Campbell, Dan Campbell and Roger Campbell.
