Allen passed away March 1, 2018 at the Tekakwitha Nursing Center, Sisseton, South Dakota. There will be a memorial service on March 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church in Sisseton, SD. Condolences may be sent to 46492 116th St., Sisseton, SD.
He is survived by sisters, Joy Nelson, of Bruno, MN, and Sharon Hanson of White Bear Lake, MN;brothers Bobby Hanson, (Clarine) of Maplewood, MN, and Herbert Hanson, (RonaLee) of New Brighton, MN. Allen spent most of his adult life in Sisseton, SD as a farm hand. His parents and siblings moved to northern MN in 1950, and he remained in SD. In the 1960`s he would spent most of his winter in St. Paul, MN with two of his single brothers, some time after that he decided to take a job at National Mower in St. Paul, MN and continued to stay there for some time and eventually decided to go back to South Dakota which to him was home. During his stay in the twin cities there was many special moments and memories made some of which were at his brother Herbs in-laws cabin in Wisconsin. There were many special moments and memory`s made in those years and we will miss him very much, along with 5 of his brothers that proceeded him in death.
