Funeral Service for Adam Jonah LaFromboise, age 27, of Mantador, North Dakota will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tribal Community Center, Agency Village, SD with Pastor Milton Owen, Pastor Paul Osbourne, and Pastor Larry Theile officiating. Pianist will be Kay Bursheim with special music by Butch Felix. Pallbearers will be Landon Leith, Joshua Lawrence, Varden Hopkins Jr., James Crawford III, Jordon Leith, Vernon White Jr., Dwayne Price and Eric Freiner. Honorary Pallbearers are "all of Adam's Friends and Relatives". Interment will be in the St. Matthew's Catholic Cemetery, Veblen, South Dakota. There will be a wake on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. and All night wake starting at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Tribal Community Center. Adam was born in Sisseton, SD on August 10, 1985 to Peter LaFromboise Sr. and Jacquelyn Lawrence. He grew up and attended school in Sisseton and at Tiospa Zina Tribal School. After his education he attended job corps in Ronan, MT. He returned to the Sisseton area and worked building grain bins for a while then became a porter at Dakota Sioux Casino. Adam liked to fish and hunt. He was a Tennessee Titans fan and he liked helping folks and spending time with his family and friends. Adam passed away on January 4, 2013.
Adam is survived by his mother Jacqueline Anderson of Mantador, ND; brothers Gary Brown of Watertown, SD and Peter LaFromboise Jr. of Browns Valley, MN; one sister Tory LaFromboise of Watertown, SD; Maternal grandparents Mike and Sylvia Owen of Peever, SD; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Father, his sister Alisha LaFromboise, Paternal grandparents, two Aunts RoseAnn LaFromboise and Lanna Lawrence, and one Uncle Kevin LaFromboise.
